Since everyone enjoyed this picture on Facebook yesterday, I decided to add it to the blog. Yesterday Sam wore this outfit out to the doctors office, and I kept wondering all day if the outfit was a bit much! The feet were little Santas and he also had a Christmas bib on. He looks pretty happy so you wouldn't even guess that he was running a fever of 101 with medicine when that pic was taken!

Both kids had to see the doc yesterday. They are both ear infection free. Sam has about four more teeth trying to poke through, and a virus. She took blood from both-not fun! I had to hand off a screaming Sam to a nurse, and hold Anna down for her needle sticks. Then I had two screaming ones to comfort. Anna bounced back quickly when the nurse gave her a lollipop, so that really helped!

We are looking forward to Christmas this year. Can't wait to see how Anna reacts to all the presents. Just a few more days...

Thanksgiving Day

Aunt Jessie and Sam

Aunt Connie and Sam.

Happy Sam playing.

I promise Anna was there too, she was just sleeping when we took the pictures. Thanksgiving Day is the day she started to get sick, so she slept most of the day!

Thanksgiving Pics Part 2...

How cute is he!!

Anna had a playdate with Noah while we were in town. I really wish these two could grow up together and see each other all the time. They are supposed to be BFF's like their moms are :)

Six Month Sam

Sam is 6 months old!! We go for the doctor visit later this week, but last week at the doctor he weighed in at 17 pounds!

He is eating from a spoon horribly, but loves pears, and squash.
He is usually happy despite the fact that he NEVER SLEEPS!!! We are up and happy at 5:30am EVERY morning. By "we" I guess I mean Sam!

He has been rolling front to back with no problem for a while, and is determined to crawl.

He is pretty mobile, much to my shock. Since five months he could pretty much get wherever he needed to be. Now he is a fast mover and must be watched AT ALL times. I see lots of bumps and bruises in his future- he has no fear!! He doesn't sit up well on his own yet. He has no interest in staying in one place, so why would he need to sit? Ugg.

Anna loves her "Sambo" most of the time, but was not at all thrilled to see him in HER highchair. She threw a big tantrum at Mimi's house the first time we put him in her seat.

She talks to him and he smiles and laughs. It is so fun to watch them together. I hope they will continue to be friends!

Matt and I are so proud of our kids! They are so cute and funny and they amaze us every single day. We are so lucky!

What Did We Do Today?

Most days when Matt gets home he asks the kids, "What did you do today?". Sam usually just smiles and drools, which is a pretty accurate answer considering that is what he does ALL day! Anna now repeats the last word of every sentence you say to her so her reply is, "Today?". Since that doesn't really help Matt picture what the kids do all day I thought I would help out...

Sam...

Today Sam formally introduced himself to the ladies of the Princess Couch. I think we are going to have to get the upholstery cleaned after this drool fest!
Anna...
Today Anna decided wearing the toy box was WAY more fun than playing with the toys in the box.
