A New Face

We put Anna in her highchair last night while we were eating dinner so she could sit with us. She loves sitting in her highchair. Anyway, she was making this face at us the whole time. She figured out how to suck in her top lip. I guess that is better than when she sticks out the bottom one!

If she figures out how to do her bottom lip too, she can make a fish face!

She is sleeping pretty much through the night which is nice and we have started her on rice cereal. Baby girl will be 4 months old tomorrow. Time is flying by too fast! Here are some pics I took today of her in her exersaucer.

Sleeping Beauty...

Matt and I decided Sunday night that it was time for Anna to go longer than six hours at night. This decision came about after a week of her not napping, and sleeping weird hours at night. Mommy and Daddy need some sleep! Sunday night she slept through just fine, didn't wake up until 5 am. After feeding her, she slept again until 9 am. WOW! Monday night she woke up at her usual 3 am. After 29 minutes of screaming she finally gave up, fell asleep, and didn't get up until 7 am. Yippy! Tuesday night I was NOT looking forward to listening to her scream. Matt suggested we just turn the monitor down. I can't do that, I have to torture myself I guess and listen to her scream! Anyway- she didn't wake up. The bugger slept until 7 am again. I am almost afraid to ask- "Are we there yet?" Is she sleeping through the night? We shall see...

Weekend Stuff

We had a great weekend hanging and not doing much. We were outside a lot Saturday night. Anna loved being outside, and Matt's parents planted some flowers in the backyard, so it was a great night to sit out and enjoy the scenery.

Baby girl and her daddy...

Mommy cracks Anna up!

Baby girl in the hammock.

Anna has started putting everything in her mouth. She used to just bat at her dragonflies, but now when you take her out of the bouncer she reaches up at the last minute and grabs a dragonfly to chew on later!

And They Said It Woudn't Last...

Today is our 7th Anniversary! We went out to dinner last night, and to the movies Friday night (Thank you Matt's parents for babysitting!). The years have flown by!

Here is a picture of Matt and I when we were dating. I'm not sure how old we were.

Here are some other pics of us through the years...

Memorial Weekend

Hey everyone! We went home this weekend. Matt had Friday and Monday off of work so we decided to relax and hang out with family and friends back home. It didn't really turn out as we thought, but we still had fun despite one trip to the ER. Anna had a great time. She got in a pool for the first time, and rolled over (or so I'm told, I still haven't seen it!) all in one weekend.

Hmm...maybe if I stare it down it will come closer!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Anna watched her first Tiger Baseball game this weekend with her daddy. She loved it! The LSU Tigers are on a 20 game winning streak!!

We're number one!!

Hot Springs

We got to Hot Springs Friday night and were there until Monday morning. We stayed on a houseboat that Jarrod's family owns. It was very nice! While we were there Anna figured out that she could pull her toy on the bouncer to make it play music. An exciting discovery until about the third pull. It is a very annoying song!

Jessica went skiing. She was great! Got up right away!

Matt discovered he may have a career in modeling...

Or not!

Anna and I hang out up top. It was a little chilly on Saturday, but it got warmer by Sunday.

Sarah with me and Anna

There was a margarita machine. Need I say more?

Despite the fact that there was an A&M flag hanging off the back of the boat, the view was gorgeous! Thank you Sarah and Jarrod, we had a great time!

Tyler Texas

This weekend we went on a little vacation. We went to Hot Springs with Jessica and Ryan, Sarah and Jarrod. We left Thursday afternoon and stopped in Tyler, TX for the night. We stayed at Ryan's parent's house. The van was VERY full, but we made it work. There were four adults, 2 babies, and a dog in the car!

Anna's "How long am I going to be in this seat?" face!

Kinley in her car seat, ready to go.

Kirby (the dog) wanted to sit in the car seat with Kinley!

We spent the day at the Coleman's house and there were pretty bad storms in the area. At one point the sirens went off so we decided to put the kids in a safe place in the house. Here they are in the laundry room. Kinley is about to eat and Anna gets to watch! I was very disappointed with the weather. I was hoping to get to go to Canton for a few hours while we waited for Jarrod and Sarah to get there!

Kinley explains to Anna how to roll over.

She was rolling from her stomach to back on the ottoman. It could have just been because it was curved a little, but I think it won't be long before Anna is a rolly polly!
