Anna's first guitar...

Mom got Anna this guitar that plays the theme song the Sesame Street in a very obnoxious way. Anna LOVES it! If you hand it to her she will play the music (and chew on it!) until you take it away. After listening to it all week at our house I am sad (not really) to say that it was "accidentally" left at Mimi's house this weekend. Anna will have to play with it in a few weeks, I hope she can live without it. I know we can!

This is usually where I find her in the morning...watching her own personal flat screen TV!




Stinker LOVES her aquarium mobile in her crib! As soon as we put her down she starts scootin' towards it. She turns it on in the morning so I can wake up to soothing sounds on the monitor!

That Makes Mama Happy!

Today Anna grabbed her bottle and held it all by herself and pretty much drank the whole bottle on her own! I am thrilled! Also she is 6 months old today. I can't believe how fast she has grown!

Anna Claire is Baptized!

Today our precious baby girl was baptized! It was a great day, we were proud parents! Her Grandparents, and Godparents were there to celebrate. She didn't cry or get upset even though she was very tired from her busy day with the family. She fell asleep on me at the very end of the Mass. I guess getting Baptized is hard work!

I can't believe we didn't post pictures of this (probably b/c furniture isn't as cute as Anna)! I'm glad you said something. Yep we got new furniture. Here it is...

We still need artwork for the wall so it is not complete yet, but I love it!!

Tropical Storm Edouard Party/Playdate

I only have 2 pictures from yesterday. We got together for a playdate while Edouard blew through. I'm glad we had company instead of having to sit around and watch the rain!



Luke decided to sit IN the bucket of toys, and kind of got stuck!


We have 2 slings, one LSU (Go Tigers!), and one that Jessica made. Since Anna is bigger now I wanted the girls to show me how to sling her on my hip. Rachel, being the fashionable woman that she is, showed me how to use it as a sling, AND a scarf. Who knew?

I'll just munch on my foot...

That is the cutest baby ever!!






Anna decided if Daddy wasn't going to share his dinner, she would just eat her foot.
