Anna's New Chair

Mary Grandma and Poppy Ed sent Anna money for her birthday, so I got her a new chair. The princess couch was great but it was getting pretty gross and losing stuffing, not to mention it was full of Sam slobber. He had quite a crush on the princesses of the couch!! It has her name on it and everything. She loves it!! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa B.

The Cow

So this week at school Anna has been having "Rodeo Fun". They talked about all the different animals and their sounds, they have been singing animal songs, making trail mix, all that fun stuff! Thursday the teacher brought in a rocking horse for the kids to play on. Anna LOVED it. She had to be removed from it and we left kicking and screaming all the way down the hall. It was so bad the teacher offered to load it into my car and let me take it home for the week! Can you tell she is a little spoiled by her teachers at school? It was sweet but I said no thank you! She needs to learn when it is time to go, it is time to go. So last night we went to Lupe Tortilla and there is this cow there that she HAD to ride. She really wanted it to rock, but she just couldn't get it to move! She had fun, and it wasn't as bad as the rocking horse episode when we had to leave.

Sam's Check Up

Sam is now nine months old and today we went for his well-visit. I don't have any pictures because my camera is dead, and the computer still isn't hooked up right anyway for me to download pics. I don't get much computer time, but hopefully that will change soon and I can get back to blogging...

Anyway, Dr. P said Sam looked great! His weight was 19 pounds 2 ounces, and height was 28.5 inches. He was happy until she measured his head and said it was small, then he poked out his bottom lip and started to cry. It was pretty funny! Anna was there and when he got his shot and started to cry, she got very upset and came rushing over to him. She was tearing up, it was very sweet. She may yell at him from time to time, but she LOVES that little guy. He adores her and lights up when he sees her. I LOVE to watch them together.

Okay, it is BBB time at our house, so I will go help. Pictures are coming soon. The weather has been great and I can't wait to take some!

Happy Birthday Anna Claire!!

Last Friday Anna Claire turned TWO!!! Her Nanna, Grandpa, Mimi, Pop, Ms. Kim, Luke, Nanny, and Noah all came in from SNOWY Baton Rouge to celebrate with her. She is so lucky to have so many people who want to share her special day with her! We had an Elmo party for her on Saturday and a bunch more of our Spring friends came to celebrate. We had fun!

These pictures are a little out of order so bare with me. I would have posted them sooner, but someone is HOGGING the office and I don't get much blogging time...

St. Jude Boat Parade 2010

This year Matt and I were back on the boat for the annual St. Jude's Krewe of Diversion parade. It was a little windy, but we managed to hit, I mean GET to lots of piers and grab money for our cause. Johnny did a great job driving, it wasn't easy! We always have a ton of fun, thank you for having us Carrie! And thank you Ms. Patsy and Mr. Grover for the wonderful food after the parade. It hit the spot!

Matt and I before the parade.

Matt and Eric

Getting ready...

Eric, Karen, and Todd in the back of the boat, and Amy's head!
Kari doing a Jello shot that someone handed her off a pier. Mrs. Renata- I told her not to do it, but she didn't listen, so fuss at her- not me!!

I'm not sure what you would call our theme, but we wore Snuggies and put on plastic butts. Here is Eric in his thonged butt and snuggie at the costume competition.
I am pretty sure this is Carrie's "I don't think we gonna win face"! BUT...we came in second for costumes!! GO US!!!

Eating

Just a messy Stinker eating yogurt!

When I went to order Anna's birthday cake, and the lady heard how much she loved Elmo, she made her this cookie. Anna loved it and begged for more!
