Nanny Comes to Visit!

Actually Nanny and Erin came to visit. Sorry Erin, we didn't get a picture of you and Anna. They drove in from Baton Rouge on Friday night and stayed the weekend. Hopefully they will come back soon to visit!

Welcome Home Anna!

Well, after spending the week in the hospital it is finally Friday morning and we are ready to go. Tomball Regional Hospital is very high tech and before you can leave you have to get this green laminated piece of paper that says it is ok to discharge! We finally got it and Matt and I were on our way home to start our new adventure as parents!















Shelby meets Anna. I hope they get along!

Aunt Jessie is here!!

Aunt Jessie took off a few days and drove in this morning. I hope her classroom looks halfway decent when she returns. I know from personal experience how students and subs treat the classroom when the teacher is away!




Jessie brought Sadie along to meet Anna too! I hope Shelby and Sadie don't get in too much trouble together!

And Baby Makes Three!

She's here!! Anna Claire Proctor has arrived! After sitting around all day with friends on my due date wondering if I would ever go into labor I finally did...that night! I started having contractions at 11 pm and we got to the hospital around midnight. I was already 8cm woo hoo! (boy does 8cm hurt!) Once I got the epidural I was a happy girl and Anna arrived at 7:12 am on Tuesday February 12, 2008. The grandparents all rushed in from Baton Rouge and got there just in time to greet her. She weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 inches long.


This is before the epidural! I'm pretty sure I'm on the phone with mom telling her to hurry up and get here!

Here is Nikki with Anna. Luke and Matthew were there too, but I guess they were camera shy!
A lot of people came to visit that evening. It is a good thing we have pictures of them all because by that time I had made friends with the pain medicine pump and I don't really remember much of the visits! :)
