D Day!

Aunt Jessie stayed with us over her Spring Break. She took this picture of Anna right before we realized she needed a diaper change. Also before we realized the swing she was in needed to be washed...and her cute little yellow outfit...and the changing table cover after we laid her on it! Anna also got a nice afternoon bath after that picture was taken. I think you all see where I am going with this. No other details are needed!

When I was younger (grades 1-4), we lived in Luling, LA. I still remember these years as fun, fun, and more fun. We still keep in touch with everyone there and some of my parents closest and dearest friends still live there. So, on Saturday, some of my "Luling Moms" came to meet Anna. I am so glad that she has such wonderful people who truly care about her in her life! They showered her with gifts, and for that we are thankful. She is a very lucky baby!

Good Friday

On Good Friday we had a crawfish boil with our good friends from Baton Rouge. The crawfish was good, and so were the frozen drinks!

Well, this is the big weekend! We are going to Baton Rouge for the first time with our little girl. She will visit with tons of friends and family. Everyone can't wait to see her and we can't wait to show her off. I hope we didn't forget anything!

We bought a new camera yesterday because our old one malfunctioned (Matt broke it.), so this morning we decided to try out the new video function. We thought it might be a good idea to share Anna's new trick...smiling. Here's Anna's first acting role: Anna Claire as Anna Claire...



Okay, so her acting debut had a small hitch. The next one is a little bit better. There's progress to be made, but we're getting there.

Well, today Jessica left Kinley at my house for twenty minutes. I decided to use that as an opportunity to discuss college options with Kinley...

She looks pretty happy- what do you think mom and dad?? I think she would look beautiful wearing purple and gold!! I hope Kinley's parents still trust me with their child after this!

One Month!

I can't believe Anna Claire is one month old today! Here she is on the quilt that our good friend Carrie made for her. We spent the day at Nikki's house. I don't have pictures of that- you'll have to check out Kinley's blog for those! Anna was asleep in Luke's room for most of it so there aren't many pictures of her. And when we got home...



RETALIATION!!!! After spending a nice day with our friends Anna and I arrived home to find this in the dining room on the floor. I'm pretty sure we left it in the family room on the coffee table! Shelby, our dog, has finally decided to voice her opinion about our new addition to the family by chewing up Anna's favorite pacifier! I hope this is the only thing she destroys. There aren't many other items that belong to Anna that I could forgive her for destroying.
