We are Proud to Say...

That Anna is a full-time underwear wearer!!!!! We are saying goodbye to this diaper holder once and for all. I have been carrying it around for weeks without having to use it, and I decided to finally put it away. It sounds silly but I even remember who gave this to us after Anna was born. I have loved it and used it every day.
Anna, we are so proud of you and your accomplishment. You are such a big girl, and you amaze us EVERY DAY!!

I Thought She Wouldn't Do It...

Anna surprised me and got on the swing with Kinley to Spider Swing. They had fun! She usually doesn't try new things without throwing a little fit, but when Jess asked her if she wanted to do it she said yes, I was shocked!

Zoo Trip

Yesterday we went to the Houston Zoo with our neighborhood playgroup. The kids had fun and the weather was great! We got to see the brand new baby elephant, sooo cute! For the finale we rode the train. We had never done that before and Anna and Sam really enjoyed it. It was a great ending to a fun day. Sam fell asleep before I pulled the car out of the lot!

Anna and Scarlett watching the elephants.

The new baby elephant is on the ground under the mama. She was in the sun so the mama came and stood over her to shade her. It was very sweet!

Some of the kids lined up waiting for the train.

Anna was very excited to get to hold her ticket and give it to the lady to get on the train. I was nervous she would drop it and it would blow away!

We are ready to ride the train!

Mimi and Pop's New House

This weekend we went to Lake Charles to help my parents with their new house. This is the first time the kids had been to see the house. They had fun playing in the yard and running around checking things out.

We played a little tee ball outside.
Daddy tried to show off...

...and he hit the ball up into the gutter!

Big yard, lots to explore!

Mimi got Anna this new butterfly outfit and she ran through the house with it on so fast we could barely catch her!

Miss Independent...

At one point today Anna had on tennis shoes that matched, and her hair was pulled back in a neat little pony tail. Then this afternoon she decided she didn't need the ponytail. So that is how we got the straggly look. Then when Matt took them out after dinner, and she needed shoes, she HAD to wear her new black shoes. She definitely could NOT wear the matching tennis shoes. And the socks HAD to be white. Ugg...

Last week Matt was gone the whole week...YUCK!! We spent a lot of time at the park. Here are a couple pics.

Anna also helped me make cookies. She loves to help me bake! She is very good at dumping things in and helping me crack the eggs. Thank you Ms. Nikki for helping me see that I could trust my little Anna to help!!! We had a lot of fun!

Cute Random Video

This video cracked me up when I saw it. We were watching the Tigers play, and Anna does her cheer, and it is so cute. The best part though is in the background where Sam is quietly playing...with Anna's little toilet!
