The Beach!!

Anna went to the beach for the first time last week! We had fun, just the girls. Here are a few pictures. I didn't take very many. Anna won't look up and smile when the sun is bright! While we were there her 2 bottom teeth broke through the gum. She is sitting up almost by herself all the time, and this morning rolled over both ways. She is growing and doing new things all of the time! What an amazing thing to watch!

Since Aunt Jessie is a perfectionist I decided to give her my yarn to roll. She made a mess all over the back seat on the drive over to Alabama, but in the end I got a perfect ball of yarn!

"Hold me tight Aunt Jessie, I'm not too sure about this!"

Helping Aunt Jessie

Today I took Anna to Aunt Jessie's classroom at SJV. We enjoyed seeing some familiar faces and visiting the school. Things have changed, it looked great, and I miss it!!

We found my old sign that used to hang on the outside of my door in Jessie's stuff. :(

The Life of the Party...

Last night we had dinner at Nikki and Matthew's house. Here is Luke holding up his end of the conversation at the dinner table.

And here is Anna fast asleep in her high chair. Apparently we weren't interesting enough for her and she decided to take a snooze! The dinner was great!! We are soooo happy that Ms. Nikki is starting to feel better and better every day. We can't wait for her to feel 100% so we can do lots of fun stuff!

The Fourth

We went home this weekend and had a great time. We hadn't taken Anna home since Memorial weekend, so she was in demand!

On Saturday we went over our friends house and had a cookout. Aunt Jessie moved into her own apartment and mom and I stopped by The Red Door to get her some presents. Love that store!!

Jess, Mom, and Allison.

Jess got coasters...

And they work!

I got her a red metal piece to hang over the kitchen cut out.

Mom got her a towel for the bathroom.

Daddy and Anna swam while we opened presents.

Dad supervised while Mr. Mitch made great hamburgers, hotdogs (just the way we like them!), and of course chicken for Matt!
Mom made really good cake for dessert.

No Dad, Anna can't have that yet!!

Mmmm...

"Hey Mom, tell me again- What happens when I talk with my mouth full?"
