This weekend we took the kids to Lake Charles for their first Mardi Gras parade. They had a blast! Some friends came to watch the parade with us. We hadn't seen them in a while so it was a good visit! The kids played in the park until the parade started, then got ready to catch those beads!!
I had to add this picture at the bottom because it was hilarious to watch! Our friends have a son who is older than our kids and wanted to get on Matt's shoulders. Matt is not used to the extra weight and watching them wrestle to get Johnny on Matt's shoulders was super funny, and not very graceful!
