House Update

This weekend we painted the new house. Matt, Jessie, and I painted until we could paint no more! We finished everything we wanted to. We painted Anna's room, Sam's room (which had to be primed first), the dining room, the study (also had to be primed...twice), the game room, the guest bedroom, and the guest bath, the laundry room, and finally-the pantry! Also Matt has been working on the trim all week. It all looks great! Tomorrow the painters come to do the family room, entryway, half bath, master bedroom and bath, Sam and Anna's bathroom, and the kitchen. Then Thursday the wood and carpet go in. I CAN'T WAIT to see it all together. I am super excited because today the contractor agreed to put in a Texas basement which is a closet under the stairs. Yay, more storage!!

During all of this my mom has been here cooking, taking care of confused, sometimes non cooperative children, cleaning, and helping me pack. She is a rock star!! I love you mom! We could NOT have done it without you!

And thank you, thank you Jessie. She painted all weekend and never complained. Always asked what we needed her to do next. I owe ya sis!! Love you!
